River Valley Esthetics Institute was founded on the idea that a school should offer more than education – it should prepare the student with the knowledge, training and confidence that will lead them to a rewarding, life-long career. The School’s program has been specifically created to provide the required training under the State of Connecticut’s new license requirements for Nail Technicians, Estheticians and for Lash services which goes into effect years 2020 and 2021.

OUR MISSION

RVEI offers premiere education that is above and beyond industry standards. RVEI’s goal is to raise the bar of education to create the most prepared, qualified and career-oriented professionals who through their selected education will leave the Institute superiorly trained and ready for a position as a nail technician, esthetician, salon owner, manufacturer’s representative and/or educator.

FACILITY & LOCATION

RVEI is located at 6 Winter Avenue, Suite B, Deep River, Connecticut. Conveniently located off Rt. 9, and easily accessible from the shoreline to points north of Hartford. Our modern and newly renovated Institute features large, clean and brightly lit training rooms outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment. The Nail Technology training room features 6 manicure stations, 6 pedicure stations, a hygiene station and classroom style theory area with a 65” monitor for modern e-learning. The Esthetics training room features 6 esthetics beds and chairs, a hygiene station plus classroom style theory area. The School is housed within the US headquarters for LCN USA – a cosmetics import and distribution company that services the salon industry. The LCN Beauty Lounge is also located within the campus. The Beauty Lounge is an active salon that offers manicures, pedicures, esthetic services and permanent make up. The Institute is handicap accessible and offers free parking on the campus.
